Eye contact correction
What it does: when you look at a question or an answer on screen, the other person still sees you looking toward the camera. Video is processed on your computer only. Nothing is uploaded or recorded.
How it takes effect: it doesn't turn on by itself when you open CalmRound. You set it up the way your computer supports, then pick the matching camera in your meeting app.
Check for free before you buy: the check in CalmRound tells you whether this computer can use it and which option to use. If it can't, it says so.
Supported devices
Find your computer below. You only need one of these.
| Device | Support | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows + NVIDIA RTX 20-series or newer GPU | Recommended | Windows 10 or 11, an RTX 20-series or newer GPU, at least 8 GB of memory, and graphics driver 572.61 or later (older drivers can't install NVIDIA Broadcast, so update first). Uses NVIDIA's free Broadcast app. |
| Windows 11 AI PC (with an NPU) | Supported | Uses the built-in Windows Studio Effects, nothing to install. Needs Windows 11 22H2 or later, a supported NPU and the manufacturer's Studio Effects driver. It only corrects up and down, and works best when you look at the center of the screen. |
| Mac | Supported | CalmRound includes its own "Studio Framing Camera", nothing else to install. Needs macOS 12.3 or later; allow the camera extension once when macOS asks. |
| No RTX GPU / other computers | Not available | Without an RTX 20-series or newer GPU, and not a Windows 11 AI PC with an NPU, automatic eye contact correction isn't possible. Switching to another camera won't change that. |
Works with your meeting app
Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other apps that let you choose a camera. After setup, pick the camera CalmRound tells you to use in the app's video settings.
