Please read these four points first

  1. Don't use CalmRound where the rules forbid outside help, including proctored and government exams.
  2. You are responsible for following the rules of each employer and each interview.
  3. Where the law requires it, get the other party's consent before turning on live transcription.
  4. Answers are generated by AI, can be wrong, and are for reference only.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME – TO CONFIRM] ("we", "us") for your use of CalmRound, including the Windows and macOS apps and related websites (the "Service"). By selecting "I agree" and signing in, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. What CalmRound does

CalmRound is an interview preparation and assistance tool. It transcribes speech, generates suggested answers from the resume and materials you provide, reads questions in screenshots, and offers practice and review features.

3. What you may not do

  1. Use the Service in proctored exams, government or professional licensing exams, or their interview stages.
  2. Use the Service where an employer, exam body or proctor explicitly prohibits assistance tools.
  3. Transcribe or record another person without their consent where the law requires it.
  4. Upload material you don't have the right to use, or that infringes privacy, copyright or trade secrets.
  5. Reverse engineer the Service, resell accounts or minutes, create accounts in bulk, or abuse free minutes.
  6. Use the Service for anything unlawful.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your access.

4. Your responsibility

You decide whether and where to use CalmRound, and you are responsible for following the rules that apply to you. You bear the consequences of breaking those rules, for example losing an interview or offer.

5. AI-generated content

Answers, explanations and code are generated automatically by AI models. They may contain errors or omissions, or not match your real experience. They are for reference only and are not professional advice. Check them and answer in your own words.

6. Your account

Sign in with your email (or a mainland China mobile number). Accounts are personal; keep your devices secure. New accounts receive free trial minutes. Repeated sign-ups from the same device or network may not receive them again.

7. Payments and refunds

CalmRound is sold as one-time minute packs. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and in the app. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and merchant of record [Creem – TO CONFIRM], which also handles customer service inquiries about payments and returns. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

8. Availability

The Service relies on third-party speech-recognition and AI providers and may be delayed or interrupted by network issues, provider outages or maintenance. We work to keep it reliable but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived [TO CONFIRM with counsel].

10. Changes

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and show a notice in the app the next time you open it. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
